12th October 2025 (New Venue)

Hey furs, hope you’re all doing well. After 12 years of Middlesfur, we have heard our members and we’re moving venue to The Southfield. We loved our old venue, but after a change in management, we also feel like we need a change. The Southfield is right next to Teesside University, so new opportunities for photos, and also at the nearby park. They have a street food themed menu with vegetarian and herbivore options, pool, darts etc. We’re excited for you all to join us in our next phase of fluffy fun.

10th August 2025

Heya furs, beans crossed we’re passed the excessive heat of the death ball in the sky. I’m very grateful that our wonderful suiters enjoyed the togas and also were understanding about avoiding heat exhaustion and the festival that rudely shared our meet date. Speaking of togas the committee will be heading to Yorkshire furs Summer Party and hope you will be joining us on the 16th, get your tickets while you can.

This meet we should be back to normal, games suiting, karaoke, and more! We hope to see all you fabulous floofs there!

Furs, it’s march and we hope you’re all doing great. We hope to see you all soon now that the weather is getting better.

13th November 2022 Meet (New Venue)

Heya furs, we hope you all had a great Halloween and also that you be safe during bonfire night. Due to multiple issues, we have decided to move to The Isaac Wilson. If you go to Teesside Uni you may have been there for societies. They have better disability access, tend to be quieter, and the staff are very welcoming. They serve good food and feel free to check the menu(https://www.teesinns.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/IW-Feb-Menu.pdf) so you know what is available.

We are planning to have our fursuit walk weather permitting, we will also be playing a variety of games including social computer games like Jackbox also boardgames. We still have Middlesfur stickers (50p) and some limited edition anniversary enamel pins (£3) for those who are interested.

  • If you currently have symptoms or a positive test please do not attend
  • You will be required to bring a vaccine card/NHS app with both dosages given
  • If you have a valid medical reason you cannot have the vaccine be careful attending
  • If you have a valid medical reason please take a test the day before attending
  • Medical conditions don’t include: conspiracy theories, just not wanting to have it, etc.
  • Please wear masks if meeting at the bus station or on the walk
  • Please limit physical contact between members
  • Given that some of our members have pre-existing conditions, knowingly breaking covid rules may result in being sent home or permanently banned from future meets

12th June 2022 Meet (Covid rules still apply)

Hey furs, we hope everyone who went to confuzzled had a fur-tastic time and that you all are having a great pride month so far, we’d like to point out that some of our members who have attended the con have come down with covid, so please do make sure that you have a negative covid test before you attended the meet. It’s nearly this month’s furmeet, so be sure to have all of your tails ready for this month’s fursuit walk (weather and suiters dependent), and lots of games for you to enjoy. We all look forward to seeing you furs there. Oh and also please let us know if you’re bringing a suit so we can have enough water on hand for the fursuit walk.

The Venue

We meet at the Resolution, we normally meet upstairs in the raised area. However, we may have to sit downstairs again depending on their staffing and if they are able to keep both open.

Hey furs, spring is coming and so is the March meet! We hope you are all doing well and staying safe. We know you want to see us irl again but unfortunately, the pubs remain closed and we remain online. We will continue to have games and other chat things and as always any idea are encouraged.

Hey furs, it seems like this is becoming our new normal for the time being but we are meeting on Discord again due to the current Covid pandemic. We assume you’ve heard the rumours of a second wave and we are following the news closely to make our decisions. We want to see your fuzzy faces again just as much as you want to meet up too.

The meet will be from 12-5 on discord and will consist of online games and chatting. If you have any ideas for other activities please reach out to a committee member. We love you furs and stay safe.

Hey furs, we hope you’re all well in these crazy times. Despite the pubs opening this month, we are having another online meet. We want to see you furs as much as you do and didn’t make this decision lightly. We promise things will go back to normal and well be happy to see you again.
