Month: September 2025

12th October 2025 (New Venue)

Hey furs, hope you’re all doing well. After 12 years of Middlesfur, we have heard our members and we’re moving venue to The Southfield. We loved our old venue, but after a change in management, we also feel like we need a change. The Southfield is right next to Teesside University, so new opportunities for photos, and also at the nearby park. They have a street food themed menu with vegetarian and herbivore options, pool, darts etc. We’re excited for you all to join us in our next phase of fluffy fun.

Schedule

11:35-11:50:- Meetup at the bus station for those who want to speak to the committee first or cannot find The Southfield (please go to The Southfield straight away at noon if you know where we meet to avoid large crowds)

12:00-14:00:- Food and socialising, along with catching up (The Southfield)

14:00-14:45:- games and socialising

14:45-15:45:- fursuit walk (weather and suiters permitting)

15:45-16:45:- more socialising and games

17:00:- Meet officially ends, moving to Level up for bowling, karaoke, etc.

12 Years Middlesfur Anni-fur-sary 14th September 2025

You read that right, 12 years ago on the 9th September 2013 Middlesfur had it’s first furmeet. That is 12 years of drinking, eating, card games, fursuit walks, socialising and more. In that time we’ve seen big changes, from committee members, logos, venues, working with other meets, and more, but 12 years on we are back were it all started, The Isaac Wilson!

We would be nothing without our loving members, so all of the committee would like to say thank you for all the good times. You are the ones who make the meet what it is, being welcoming to new members, fursuiting and lighting up the streets, and just making laughs that keep us all going.

I, Neptune, would also like to thank the committee. Dealing with all the behind the scenes of a meet is not an easy task, and even when I’m joking around know that I appreciate everything you do. Dust, keeping you guys safe from yourselves and jumping in when emergencies happen. Sarah and Jess, your work with Yorkshire Summer Party has been great, I don’t think I could have handled it. Billie, our newest member, continue being you and don’t be afraid to speak you, you’re just as much a member of any of us.

Thank you all, once again,

The Middlesfur Committee
