Furs, it’s march and we hope you’re all doing great. We hope to see you all soon now that the weather is getting better.

This is a reminder that we are now at the Isaac Wilson, this venue is a lot more welcoming of us and has better access for people with disabilities and smaller crowds. As always we’ll have games and our fursuit walk (weather permitting, please say if you’re bringing a suit so we know the numbers). We hope to see you all along with new faces.

13th November 2022 Meet (New Venue)

Heya furs, we hope you all had a great Halloween and also that you be safe during bonfire night. Due to multiple issues, we have decided to move to The Isaac Wilson. If you go to Teesside Uni you may have been there for societies. They have better disability access, tend to be quieter, and the staff are very welcoming. They serve good food and feel free to check the menu(https://www.teesinns.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/IW-Feb-Menu.pdf) so you know what is available.

We are planning to have our fursuit walk weather permitting, we will also be playing a variety of games including social computer games like Jackbox also boardgames. We still have Middlesfur stickers (50p) and some limited edition anniversary enamel pins (£3) for those who are interested.

Covid Safety Rules

  • If you currently have symptoms or a positive test please do not attend
  • You will be required to bring a vaccine card/NHS app with both dosages given
  • If you have a valid medical reason you cannot have the vaccine be careful attending
  • If you have a valid medical reason please take a test the day before attending
  • Medical conditions don’t include: conspiracy theories, just not wanting to have it, etc.
  • Please wear masks if meeting at the bus station or on the walk
  • Please limit physical contact between members
  • Given that some of our members have pre-existing conditions, knowingly breaking covid rules may result in being sent home or permanently banned from future meets

12th June 2022 Meet (Covid rules still apply)

Hey furs, we hope everyone who went to confuzzled had a fur-tastic time and that you all are having a great pride month so far, we’d like to point out that some of our members who have attended the con have come down with covid, so please do make sure that you have a negative covid test before you attended the meet. It’s nearly this month’s furmeet, so be sure to have all of your tails ready for this month’s fursuit walk (weather and suiters dependent), and lots of games for you to enjoy. We all look forward to seeing you furs there. Oh and also please let us know if you’re bringing a suit so we can have enough water on hand for the fursuit walk.

The Venue

We meet at the Resolution, we normally meet upstairs in the raised area. However, we may have to sit downstairs again depending on their staffing and if they are able to keep both open.

Hey furs, spring is coming and so is the March meet! We hope you are all doing well and staying safe. We know you want to see us irl again but unfortunately, the pubs remain closed and we remain online. We will continue to have games and other chat things and as always any idea are encouraged.

Hey furs, it seems like this is becoming our new normal for the time being but we are meeting on Discord again due to the current Covid pandemic. We assume you’ve heard the rumours of a second wave and we are following the news closely to make our decisions. We want to see your fuzzy faces again just as much as you want to meet up too.

Hey furs, we hope you’re all well in these crazy times. Despite the pubs opening this month, we are having another online meet. We want to see you furs as much as you do and didn’t make this decision lightly. We promise things will go back to normal and well be happy to see you again.

14th June 2020 (Discord meet & Art contest)

Hey Furs, we hope you’re doing well. As evident by the title we are still opting to have digital meets for the time being and will excitedly tell you when this changes. We want to see you guys again as much as you do and know it’s not ideal.

This month to keep things interesting we’re having an art contest! The prize is a £10 Steam gift card. The rules are as follows:

  1. Must depict at least one of the Middlesfur mascots talking on a discord server (microphone/headset and computer minimal, background optional.
  2. SFW only (No genitalia, sex toys, pandering to a fetish (foot/paw, diaper, scat, inflation etc.) illegal drugs or anything else that could be perceived as NSFW/adult) Committee members have the right to disqualify even edge cases.
  3. Must not breach the Code of Conduct.
  4. traditional, digital, sculpted art are all accepted!
  5. Novices encouraged!
  6. Entries must be posted on our Discord server under “Art-show-and-tell” with the hashtag #MiddlesfurArtyDiscord by 3 pm 14th June 2020 GMT.
  7. The prize doesn’t count as payment and you’re under no obligation to allow us to repost your art without your consent and or accreditation.
  8. The winner with be decided by the number of :furlove: emojis (see below) attached to it has by 5 pm GMT

Hey furs, hope you’re staying safe out there. Please remember that due to the current pandemic our meets are on our Discord server:

We will continue to have online games at 12pm-5pm until the country and our committee deem it safe to return to our normal meets. Also, we shouldn’t have to so this but it’s worth repeating IF YOU CHOOSE TO HAVE IN PERSON MEETUPS DURING THIS TIME YOU ARE ENDANGERING LIVES PLEASE ACT ACCORDINGLY !!!
