13th March 2022(IRL pub quiz)

Heya furs, it’s March, the month of Neptune’s and Tempus’s birth. As always, we have to have a pub quiz written by our committee members with animal facts from aardvarks to Judy Hopps to zebra crossings. We’ll keep Neptune’s questions easier and she won’t be writing more than half the questions. We’ll have some prizes and the usual fun.

The Venue

We meet at the Resolution, we normally meet upstairs on the raised area. However, we may have to sit downstairs again depending on their staffing and if they are able to keep both open.

Schedule

  • 11:35-11:55 :- Meetup at the busstation for those who want to speak to the committee first or cannot find the Resolution (please go to the Resolution straight away at 12:00 if you know where we meet to avoid large crowds)
  • 12:00-13:30 :- Food and socialising, along with catching up (Resolution)
  • 13:30-14:45 :- Pub Quiz
  • 14:45-15:15 :- fursuit walk (weather and suiters permitting)
  • 15:15-17:00 :- more socialising and games
  • 17:00 :- Meet officially ends

Covid Saftly Rules

  • If you currently have symptoms or a positive test please do not attend
  • You will be required to bring a vaccine card/NHS app with both dosages given
  • If you have a valid medical reason you cannot have the vaccine be careful attending
  • If you have a valid medical reason please take a test the day before attending
  • Medical conditions don’t include: conspiracy theories, just not wanting to have it etc.
  • Please wear masks if meeting at the bus station or on the walk
  • Please limit physical contacts between members
  • Given that some of our members have pre-existing conditions, knowingly breaking covid rules may result in being sent home or permanently banned from future meets

Hey furs, spring is coming and so is the March meet! We hope you are all doing well and staying safe. We know you want to see us irl again but unfortunately, the pubs remain closed and we remain online. We will continue to have games and other chat things and as always any idea are encouraged.

10th March 2019 Meet

Hey furs, it’s March and as our long-time members know, that means a pub quiz! Now to be fair, we have had quite a few pub quizzes in the past, and we have had a lot of feedback about Neptune’s definition of “easy” questions. That means this quiz Neptune is writing MUCH HARDER QUESTIONS!!! that will not be used in the quiz. TEMPUS WILL BE ACTUALLY WRITING ALL THE QUESTIONS FOR THIS QUIZ!

Besides the pub quiz we will also be having our normal set of games and fursuit walk (weather and suiters dependent)

Schedule

1:30-12:00 meet at Middlesbrough Bus Station

12:00-13:00 Pub quiz

13:00-14:30 Games and socialising at The resolution

14:30-15:30 Fursuit walk (Suiters please contact a committee member if attending)

15:30-17:00 more games, drawing and socialising

17:00 End of meet

March Artist of The Month 2018: Mintoony(Jeff)

Hey furs,

For the month of March, to keep you distracted from the freezing snow, we bring you Mintoony! Mintoony is an animation student and graphic art designer from Newcastle. They primarily work in the digital median and has a magical dynamic style that accentuates the form and movement of the subject.

Middlefur 11th March Meet

hey furs,

We hope you are doing well, we were so happy to see lots of new faces. For march we are going to leave you hanging on any additional activities to be added to our schedule. Your will be updated on any changes that we make but as it stands the schedule is asfollows:

Schedule

11:30 Meet at Middlesbrough Bus Station.

12:00 Head to Resolution.

13:00 – 14:30 games and socialising

14:30 – 15:45 Fursuit walk (optional, usually at least one committee member will remain at the pub).

17:00 Meet ends at Resolution.

Middlesfur Meet 12th March

New Venue

Our meet has changed to a much nicer Wetherspoons venue near the central bus station, where we have mostly our own area upstairs. This does mean for those with disabilities it may be quite restricted due to no lift facilities, If you wish to visit our meet and you have mobility issues please message us and we can arrange to accommodate your needs, please do not be afraid to come join in the fun.

Please Bring ID

Sadly we have to ask that any fur wishing to come to the meet has to bring ID to prove you are over the age of 16 (unless previously proven). If ID is not provided we must insist you leave and return with ID either within the meet or at the following meet. No-one is allowed to purchase alcohol if you or the person you intend to buy for is under 18. We will ask you to leave. Sorry, we are having to be so strict but we are unable to take responsibility for allowing such activities.

The Schedule

11:30: Meet at Middlesbrough train station.
12:00: Head to Lloyd’s Bar.
14:00-15:15: Fursuit walk (optional, usually at least one committee member will remain at the pub).
17:00: Meet ends at Lloyd’s Bar.

Meet Dates & Info

Middlesfur Mini-meet 13th March

Hello fellow furs! It’s that time again for another furmeet and this one is going to be grrrreat! We are celebrating Neptune’s birthday along with another members who will be attending, we will be playing games and having lots of fun once again! Fursuits are welcome, we suggest you don’t wear them until at the meet though!

Plans are as followed:
11:30: We will be meeting in Middlesbrough’s train station just outside WHSmith.
12:00: Leave the train station to walk to the venue (TP Coffee House and Cafe Ltd) where the meet will be held, games and such will be played and there is a gallery if you wish to inspire yourself with beautiful artwork.
17:00: The meet will come to a close.
The venue serves a delicious range of food and drinks, both hot and cold. Please do not bring food or drink from outside the vunue as we have been given it for free on the condition we purchase goods from the venue.
