16th April 2023 (3rd Sunday)

Heya furs, hope you’re all doing well this spring. We’re excited to see you all this month, now that the weather is improving. The meet is the third Sunday of April, this is due to the bank holiday, and Isaac’s may be busy due to the Sunday Lunch crowds.

As always we’ll have games and our fursuit walk (weather permitting, please say if you’re bringing a suit so we know the numbers). We hope to see you all along with new faces.

The Schedule

  • 11:35-11:50:- Meetup at the bus station for those who want to speak to the committee first or cannot find The Isaac Wilson (please go to Isaac’s straight away at 12:00 if you know where we meet to avoid large crowds)

Heya furs, it’s a new year, new venue, and new fun! We hope you’ve all had a great winter period and that you are staying warm. As always we’ll have games and our fursuit walk (weather permitting, please say if you’re bringing a suit so we know the numbers). We hope to see you all along with new faces💜

9-Year Anniversary Meet 9th October (Reschedule)

Well hello to all our amazing furs, we sure hope that you all are doing well. Yes, you read that right, it’s been 9 whole years since Middlesfur was founded! Looking back throughout the years, it has certainly been a wild ride and a lot of things have changed. In our first few years, things were tough, not knowing if anyone will attend, and also the venue may have decided to not open without telling us. After that things slowly grew as word got around. We had to change venues multiple times, changing the meet day to avoid conflicts with other meets, and Neptune being woken up at 4 am to be told that our logo was infringing copyright. We soldiered on though, designed our new and better logo, and continued to grow. Recently we had to adapt to online meets, and due to the Covid times, we had to hide in our homes. This was hard for not only us, but also you lovely members. Middlesfur became an important time in our lives and it was frustrating to not be able to see each other, but we survived and came out the other side. We’ve made a lot of good friends along the way, some moved away or had to stop coming, but we appreciate you all for making Middlesfur. From all of the Middlesfur committee, we thank you for making Middlesfur what it is today and we can’t wait for what the future holds.

For our anniversary, we’re going to have a pub quiz to celebrate and give back to you, our loving members. As with every year, it’ll be free to enter and will have prize support. We will also be having games and of course, the fursuit walk, weather and suiters permitting. We hope to see you there!

14th August 2022

Heya furs, the sun is finally cooling down and we hope you all coped well during the hottest day on record. Shout out to our wonderful suiters who dared bear the heat, we took plenty of breaks and did regular check-ins with the suiters to make sure they were safe. It was also nice to see new and old faces at the last meet. Fun fact for the 14th of August for all you scalies is it’s world Lizard Day! We hope to see you all again this month and feel free to contact a committee member for more information.

Only a week to go until the meet! (Sunday 10th) hopefully, the weather stays alright considering it’s either been roasting or very wet… place your bets on what it’s gonna be like. On another note, as some of you guys know we had a little issue with the venue at the last meet. The plan is still to meet at the bus station then at 12 head to Lloyd’s but if that fails we may end up at Issacs again. We will keep you guys informed.
